IMPORTANT: THESE TERMS OF USE FOR ACCESS TO OR USE OF ANY SERVICES PROVIDED BY VINSSCAN REPORTS (“TERMS OF USE”) CONSTITUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN VINSSCAN REPORTS, INC. (“VINSSCAN”) AND YOU (“YOU” OR “YOUR”) FOR THE CREATION OF A VINSSCAN ACCOUNT AND/OR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE VINSSCAN WEBSITE, WEB APPLICATION, AND/OR MOBILE APPLICATION(S) (COLLECTIVELY, THE “PLATFORM”) AND/OR THE CONTENT OR SERVICES PROVIDED THEREIN, WHETHER OR NOT YOU CREATE A VINSSCAN ACCOUNT.
BY VISITING THE PLATFORM, OR ANY PAGE WITHIN IT, AND/OR BY USING ANY VINSSCAN SERVICE (AS DEFINED BELOW), YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT:

Account Creation and Use:
To access certain features of the Services, you may need to create a Vinsscan account. By creating an account, you accept responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
Prohibited Activities:
Unauthorized use or access to the Platform or Services.
Reverse-engineering, copying, or reproducing any part of the Platform without express permission.
Using the Services for unlawful purposes.

General:
The term “Services” covers all content regardless of the manner, form, or medium in which it is delivered to you, stored by you, or delivered by you.
All Services are owned and operated by Vinsscan. We reserve the right, at any time, to modify or discontinue any aspect or feature of the Services. This includes, but is not limited to:
The content available within the Services,
The availability of specific Services, and
The equipment or technology required to access or use the Services.

(b) The Account
You may be required to create an account to access certain features of the Platform or Services. To create a Vinsscan account, you must provide a valid email address registered to you. When registering, you agree:

Not to mislead or provide false information regarding the origin of any content you share with Vinsscan, and
Not to use the terms “Vinsscan” or any derivatives thereof as part of your screen name, username, or any other identifier.
Electronic Communications: Except as specifically stated in Section 19, communications between you and Vinsscan will be conducted electronically. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications exchanged between you and Vinsscan electronically satisfy any legal requirements for written communication.
Account Creation Requirements: By creating an account, you represent and warrant the following:
Age & Authority: You are over eighteen (18) years of age and have the legal authority to enter into and fulfill your obligations under these Terms of Use.
Ownership: You own the vehicles for which you are using the Vinsscan Services or have the proper authorization to act on behalf of the vehicle owner.
Accuracy: All information you provide to Vinsscan through the Platform is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information. Any activity conducted through your account is your responsibility. Notify Vinsscan immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account or a breach of security.
You further agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use, whether or not you create a Vinsscan account. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please do not use the Platform. If you do not agree to all the terms outlined here, you are prohibited from creating a Vinsscan account or accessing or using any part of the Vinsscan Platform or Services.
Right to Update Terms
Vinsscan reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to update, modify, or revise these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Platform. We encourage you to review these Terms of Use and the Vinsscan Privacy Statement periodically for any revisions or updates.

VINSSCAN SERVICE:
a) Description
The Vinsscan Service is a comprehensive personal vehicle information management platform designed to help you consolidate and track essential information about your vehicles. Through this Service, you may receive:
Alerts about safety recalls,
Information about warranties,
Email reminders for recommended vehicle services,
Access to service history for your vehicles, and
Other vehicle service-related details.
Additionally, the Vinsscan Service may provide information about third-party products or services, such as coupons, discounts, and special offers (“Third-Party Offers”).
The Vinsscan Service is intended to help you organize and manage vehicle-related information efficiently. It is not intended to provide legal, tax, or financial advice.
(b) Right to Access and Use the Vinsscan Service
Vinsscan grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use the Vinsscan Service within the United States for personal use only. Your use of the Service must comply with these Terms of Use and applicable laws.
(c) Recall Information
Vinsscan collects information about vehicle safety and emissions recalls from most manufacturers of vehicles sold in the United States. While manufacturers provide regular data updates to Vinsscan, it is important to note that some recalls may not yet have been reported to Vinsscan. We recommend contacting the manufacturer or an authorized dealer directly for the most accurate and up-to-date recall information.
Trademarks and Patents:
All trademarks and service marks of Vinsscan and its affiliates displayed in connection with any Service are protected under state, federal, and/or international trademark laws. Unless explicitly authorized by Vinsscan, you are prohibited from using any trademarks or service marks that you access through the Services in connection with:
Any product or service not provided by Vinsscan,
Any activity or manner likely to cause confusion among customers, or
Any way that could disparage, discredit, or harm the reputation of Vinsscan and its affiliates.
All other trademarks and service marks appearing in the Services are the property of their respective owners, including third-party providers of products and services that may be linked to or from the Services. These marks are used solely for identification purposes and do not imply endorsement or affiliation unless expressly stated.
No Modification of Services
You are prohibited from modifying any aspect of the Services (including, but not limited to, the Platform). However, you may input and save information related to your vehicle(s) as permitted by Vinsscan.
If you or someone acting on your behalf develops any modifications, enhancements, or improvements to any Service or the Platform in violation of these Terms of Use, you agree to and hereby assign to Vinsscan all Intellectual Property rights related to such modifications or improvements.
Additionally, you agree to:
Execute all necessary documents, and
Undertake all reasonable actions as requested by Vinsscan,
to ensure that Vinsscan secures, perfects, and maintains ownership of such Intellectual Property.
By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to these terms as a condition of access.
Any product or service not provided by Vinsscan,
Any activity or manner likely to cause confusion among customers, or
Any way that could disparage, discredit, or harm the reputation of Vinsscan and its affiliates.
All other trademarks and service marks appearing in the Services are the property of their respective owners, including third-party providers of products and services that may be linked to or from the Services. Submissions by You
You may provide Submissions through the Platform, provided that the Submission:
Is not illegal or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations (including, but not limited to, vehicle advertising laws).
Is not obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing on intellectual property rights, or otherwise harmful or objectionable to third parties.
Does not consist of or contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of “spam.”
Responsibility for Submissions
You are solely responsible for all Submissions you provide to the Platform. You may not use a false email address, impersonate any person or entity, or mislead others regarding the origin of your Submission.
Rights Granted to Vinsscan
Unless otherwise indicated by Vinsscan:
(a) You grant Vinsscan and its affiliates a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display any Submission in any media, now known or developed in the future.
(b) You grant Vinsscan, its affiliates, and sublicensees the right to use the name submitted with your Submission, if they choose.
(c) You represent and warrant that:
Ownership and Rights: You own or control all rights to the information in your Submission or have the legal right to distribute such information.
Accuracy: Your Submission is accurate and not misleading.
Compliance: Your Submission does not violate these Terms of Use or any applicable laws, nor does it infringe on the rights of, or cause harm to, any individual or entity.
Monitoring and Enforcement
Vinsscan reserves the right, but is not obligated, to monitor, edit, or remove any Submission. You further grant Vinsscan the right to pursue legal action against any individual or entity that violates Vinsscan’s or your rights regarding a Submission through a breach of these Terms of Use.
Risks and Disclosures
You assume all risks associated with your Submissions, including:
Reliance by others on their accuracy, completeness, or usefulness.
Disclosure of personal information that could identify you.
No Endorsement or Sponsorship
You may not imply that your Submission is sponsored or endorsed by Vinsscan unless explicitly agreed upon in writing by Vinsscan.
Third-Party Content or Offers
Vinsscan does not endorse, warrant, or guarantee any products or services available through Third-Party Offers (or any other third-party products or services advertised on or linked from any Services). Any information, opinions, or content expressed by third parties, including information providers and users, reflect the views of the respective author(s) or distributor(s) and do not necessarily represent the views of Vinsscan.
The Services may include links to third-party websites. However, Vinsscan does not control, monitor, or assume responsibility for the content, policies, or practices of these websites. The inclusion of a link does not imply Vinsscan’s endorsement of the third-party website, its content, or its services.

Vinsscan collects all information you provide through Submissions or otherwise share with Vinsscan, including but not limited to:
Registration information
User profile details
In addition to the information you provide, Vinsscan may collect Usage Information, which includes but is not limited to:
The number of times you have visited the Platform
The date of your last visit
The number of Submissions made by you
The number of tags or “likes” received
Your name and location
A record of all your Submissions
Any other activity or interactions you engage in while using the Platform
This information is collected to enhance your experience, improve the Services, and provide personalized features and insights.
Information Publicly Available on the Platform
Vinsscan may make publicly available any and all Submissions that you post or upload to any part of the Platform. Additionally, any Usage Information associated with your activity on the Platform may also be made accessible to other users.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that such information may be visible to others and that you are solely responsible for the content of your Submissions and activity.
No Advice
The Services provided by Vinsscan may include tools and information designed to assist you in evaluating data and making informed decisions about your vehicles. However, Vinsscan strongly advises that you use these Services as just one of many tools in your decision-making process. It is important to complement this information with your own independent research and investigation to make the best decisions for your vehicle-related needs.
You acknowledge and agree that you assume full responsibility for all decisions and transactions made while using the Services. Vinsscan does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice and is not liable for the outcomes of your decisions.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Vinsscan, we are committed to providing you with the most accurate and reliable VIN reports to help you make informed decisions. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we are here to assist you.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a refund, you must request it within 7 days from the date of purchase.
Refund Process
To request a refund, please contact our customer support team at Support@carsintell.com or (909) 313-0957. When contacting us, please provide your order details and the reason for your refund request.
Refund Approval
Once your refund request is received, our team will assess it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
Non-Refundable Items
Please note that the following are non-refundable:
VIN reports that have already been processed and delivered.
Requests made beyond 7 days from the date of purchase.
Any additional services or reports purchased alongside the VIN report that are non-refundable at the time of purchase.
Cancellation of VIN Report Services
If you wish to cancel your order before the VIN report is processed, you may be eligible for a full refund. However, once the report has been generated and delivered, it is considered non-refundable.
